Aaron Kimsey
Founder and Attorney
Aaron grew up in Morristown, TN and joined the Air Force at age 18. After 8 years he separated from the 20th Special Operations Squadron, where he served as a flight engineer on MH-53M Pavelow Helicopters. Aaron received his B.A. in Business Legal Studies from East Tennessee State University, where he graduated with the highest honors and his Juris Doctorate from Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee. After serving as the Director of Special Projects in a Multi-State law firm, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in Sevierville, TN. When Aaron is not working and fighting for his clients, he has several hobbies. Aaron is an avid fly fisherman enjoying both the simplicity of the equipment, and the challenge of the hunt. He has an undying love for the outdoors and nature, and enjoys riding his motorcycle and rock-climbing in his Jeep.
Jaclyn D. Hardin
J.D.
Jaclyn was born and raised in Sevier County, TN. She attended King University in Bristol, VA where she played collegiate tennis and received her B.S. in Business Administration. Jaclyn returned to Sevier County after graduation to attend law school. She graduated with the highest honors from Lincoln Memorial Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, TN where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence. As a law student, Jaclyn spent three Weeks in Liaocheng, China as an assistant teacher to a comparative Law & Economics class. After serving as a law clerk at one of the oldest firms in Sevierville, TN, Jaclyn joined the Kimsey Defense Team. When Jaclyn is not working and zealously representing her clients, she has many hobbies. Jaclyn has a passion for traveling, hiking in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, and all varieties of music. She also coaches her son’s junior league basketball team. Go Hornets!
Pat Bowman
Director of Operations
Pat joined The Kimsey Firm in September, 2019. She has served as Director of Operations for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust in Miami, Florida, Lead Systems Analyst at Martin Lockheed, Executive Director of Rose Center and Council of the Arts, Director of Professional Alliances, and Director of Marketing for The Andersen Firm.
Pat enjoys her grandchildren, fishing and hiking. She received her BA from Maryville College, Tennessee.
Lorraine Lock-Barnikel
Client Services Coordinator
Lorraine was born in England, UK and following college, trained and worked as a State Registered Nurse. She enjoyed a career for 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry, initially serving in sales and then in various training and development positions, including managing several training departments. After moving with her family to Florida, Lorraine owned, managed and sold two successful businesses. Lorraine’s experience and skill sets are in marketing, sales, communication and superior customer service. She was blessed to become a USA citizen in 2015.
Lorraine moved to Sevierville 2 years ago, is married, has 3 sons and 2 wiener dogs, all of which keep her busy during her spare time.
